Debbie Paviour our fairy godmother at Premier.

Debbie has been in the hairdressing industry for over 39 years. Started her apprenticeship in 1979, she was self employed for most of her career.

She was tutoring for 12 years where, she was the principle tutor at the end. She now oversees all the stock and policies at Premier. WHAT AN INSPIRATION.

Where do you find your inspiration? You would not believe me if I tell you - Cooking shows. I enjoy watching them present their food and cooking methods, I try incorporate that into the way I present myself in front of the students and teaching methods.

What’s your best advice to someone entering this industry?

Passion - if you don’t have a passion for hairdressing don’t even enter.

"On my off days I enjoy digging some dirt in my garden. Planting new plants and seeing them grow is so refreshing and brings a spark to my life."

What’s the highlight of your career so far?

I can not pin point one moment or time in my career which I can say was a highlight, but what I can say is that becoming a tutor is so rewarding. Taking all my experience I picked up over the years and sharing it to others fills me with joy.
